Expired 10DLC Tokens FAQ
Last updated: February 1, 2025
Where can I check the status of my 10DLC?
The registration dashboard in your account will show you the status of all the Switchboard accounts that you are a member of. If your 10DLC is expired, your dashboard will show not configured and Expiration Jan. 30, 2025.

Why did my 10DLC tokens expire?
Unfortunately, this process and payment are required by the Campaign Verify organization, not Switchboard. Campaign Verify is the third-party vetting provider that works to verify campaigns are who they say they are to carriers and aggregators in the verification process. Campaign Verify tokens are valid for two-year election cycles. New campaign verify tokens requested or received after November 15, 2024, will be valid until January 31, 2027.
What happens to my 10DLC numbers if my Campaign Verify token expired before I sent in a new token?
If you did not send in a new token before the February 1, 2025 expiration date, your 10DLC numbers will be deactivated in your Switchboard account.
If your opt-in flow and privacy policy are compliant for the new cycle, email support@oneswitchboard.com and Switchboard can request a toll free verified number as an alternative to unblock your sending while you get a new token.
You can make a compliant opt in flow and privacy policy right in Switchboard. Follow this resource for guidance.
Can I renew my 10DLC token after February 1, 2025?
Yes! To do so, fill in our 10DLC request form. This process will take approximately 3-5 business days to process after February 1, 2025.
I had a toll-free verified number before I had a 10dlc number, can I use that if my 10DLC token expired?
Yes—if a toll-free verified number was already in your Switchboard account, we automatically activated that number for you on February 1, 2025, to prevent any interruption in sending. You can check if you have an active toll free number in your account by visiting your registration dashboard. If your account is no longer configured to text, email support support@oneswitchboard.com.

What do I need to do to renew my campaign verify token?
To renew your token, you must submit a new verification request with Campaign Verify and pay an additional $95 fee. Here is Campaign Verify’s step-by-step guide on how to request a Campaign Verify token.
My organization is not a 527 organization (campaign, political committees, PAC, political party), do I need to send in a new token?
No—Campaign Verify tokens are only required for 527 organizations. Other organizations (e.g., government, unions, nonprofits, etc.) do not need to provide a token. If you are unsure if this applies to your organization, check your registration dashboard. If your organization has a 10DLC and does not need a token, your dashboard will show Configured and Local Registered (10DLC): Expiration never.
