Switchboard Slack Community Code of Conduct

Introduction

  • The purpose of this slack channel is to serve as a safe, helpful and friendly space to seek guidance on all things data in Switchboard! Feel free to discuss our api, sql mirror, exports, webhooks, and more!

  • This is meant to be a collaborative space for all Switchboard users interacting with our SQL mirror and API, other Switchboard users will also be in this space.

Encouraged Behavior

  • Welcome others.

  • Respect others.

  • Encourage those learning or asking questions, and feel free to guide them appropriately.

  • Engage in our public channel instead of sending DMs, so everyone can learn and contribute. If you’re seeking 1-1 support, please email us instead at support@oneswitchboard.com.

Unacceptable Behavior

  • Conduct or speech which might be considered sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist or otherwise discriminatory or offensive in nature.

  • Disrespectful conduct or speech like unwelcome, suggestive, derogatory or inappropriate nicknames or terms; innuendo, dismissive attitudes, intimidation, violent language, threats or harassment.

  • Sending messages excessively to the top level channel. Please keep conversations on a theme organized in a thread instead to allow everyone a chance to be heard.

  • No spam, soliciting or recruiting. No reaching out to workspace members on other platforms. This community is not a place to gather contacts for use elsewhere.

Enforcement

  • Violation of these terms may lead to consequences such as the removal of comments, deactivation and/or removal from the Slack community workspace.
